running4renewables 2012

For the third year in a row, running4renewables will be taking place at the Edinburgh Marathon on 27th May and is calling on runners to take part in either the full Marathon, Half Marathon or Hairy Haggis Team Relay in support Renewable World.

The Edinburgh Marathon is the UK's fastest marathon so a great race for first time runners or veterans wanting to set a personal best. If you don't think you are up to the full marathon distance then why not consider  trying the Half Marathon, or the Hairy Haggis Team Relay which involves teams of four covering the full marathon distance. It's a great way to say you've taken part in a marathon without completing the full distance and relay legs vary in length so people of different abilities can take part in the same team.  

Renewable World will be in the charity village after the race for a photo opportunity and to provide well deserved refreshments. The event also takes place the same week as the All-Energy conference in Aberdeen 23rd + 24th May so if you are attending the conference why not stay on and make a weekend of it in beautiful Edinburgh?
